Okay...So now that things are clear.
I am indeed doing a show at Joe's Pub.
I am thrilled. This is something that I've been trying to put together for months. I am so excited to see all the pieces falling into place.
I'm planning on a night of Rock, R&B, and Soul classics. Expect songs from Sam Cooke, and Otis Redding...but also contemporary hits from artists like James Morrison and Paolo Nutini.
Info on guests to come!!!
Please, please, PLEASE buy tickets. I am so excited and I want it to be a packed house!

So my apologies if you felt I blew your big announcement... when I saw the show was up at the Joe's website, I bought my ticket and then rushed off to tell everyone else to buy theirs!
Congrats, I know how hard you've been trying to put this together (months? more like YEARS!). I'm so excited for you, and I can't wait.

Can't wait! I got my tickets this afternoon (after Liz told me about it before she was supposed to). I really can't wait to see what/who you choose as far as songs and guests! I am so excited for this! It'll be a great show!

Funny, I went to the Joe's Pub website to see if I could find anything - saw the date - then came here and it's old news - thought I was on to something. Holy fishbowl. :-) Going to try to make the show!

Congrats Matt!!! So at first i saw this and immediately thought I'd never be able to go and was excited for you but bummed out for me. Then my friend and I started planning and... it looks like we'll be able to make it! We'll be taking the last train out of the city so we don't have to spend the night, but we'll be there! We are very excited to see you perform - ESPECIALLY with songs from 2 of my fav artists: Paolo Nutini and James Morrison. I met you a few months ago, I am the girl that asked you to blog on our celeb blogging site TheOneLove.org (still sad you weren't able to - door is always open :))
Some friends and I will be in town that weekend, and I am excited to say we'll be there through Tuesday the 18th!
I'm not sure if I say "good luck" or "break a leg" for a concert - so just have a great show, and we'll see you at Joe's Pub. Congrats!!!

Ah!!! So exciting. I tend to not like to see shows in Manhattan since Spring Awakening closed but... I couldn't help it. Bought 4 tickets. We'll all be there. Good luck and freaking CONGRATULATIONS.

Hope you remember me-We were in Cinderella with a twist together back in the day!(God, that show was ridiculous) Just wanted to say hi and let you know how proud I am of you! You have come so far and accomplished your dreams...Corny I know, but still very true.
