Okay

Right now I am enjoying the sweet tunes of Paolo Nutini's new single "Candy."

I love this artist so much. I really look up to him and sound he creates. The fact that he's my age is just crazy to me.

Check out the music video on his website or on youtube.

Or here.

Sorry it's so small. These new widescreen youtube videos aren't kind to blogs.

I must say Matt, you have a good taste in music, but the Yankees are better then the Red Sox, just had to throw that in there =]

You always recommend the best artists! I am always looking for great new music and can always count on you to provide some. Hope I can return the favor one day!

Love it! I have Rewind on my iPod. So I have to wonder Matt (of you), what must it be like to know that you're a better singer than the 2 finalists on Amer. Idol? It must be surreal. If you'd chosen that path, you'd have won (but I'm glad you didn't). In my next life I want a voice - for now I'll settle for listening to yours. You need to record more!

Paolo Nutini is fucking amazing, pardon my French. You've got amazing taste in music. And I'm not just saying that because it sometimes mirrors my own... Aha!

But seriously, you should post a song a week because people need to be exposed to something that's not constant rap and hip hop crap.

Matt! So I am sure you have heard this, but Adam Lambert sang "A Change Is Gonna Come" on American Idol this week. I had a party with my (chorus) friends and he started singing and I just about died.. and my friend goes "HEY. THIS IS THE SONG THAT GUY SANG THAT YOU LOVE!"

basically. you did it better :) but i thought it was fun.

You titled this post "okay" so now I am going to give you an "okay" and ask what is on a lot of people's minds, Are YOU ever (preferably in the near future) going to record? I know it is not something that everyone wants to do, but it it something you plan on doing? This way we can all not only look forward to your recommendations of artists, but also your recordings.

I've gotta say, i LOVE Paolo Nutini, his amazing voice, that attitude and just his overall presence is enough to stun me. I found this blog a little over a year ago and I have to say the one thing i'm most grateful for is you introducing me to Paolo Nutini as well as several other great artists you've mentioned. You're amazing, I wish I had gotten the pleasure of seeing you in Spring Awakening..but what's done is done, I hope to you see you in any other amazing performances you have lined up. :D
