Quiet December

There has been a lot of slowdown on this blog lately. I appologize, but I gotta say, the winter is as dead as ever. This is very typical. Last year before I even got spring awakening I don't think I made a single post in December. Not too much news to report.

I am working on a few new things. I have no idea where any of them will take me. Other than those projects, I recently had the pleasure of being involved in a reading for Henry Krieger's new musical 'The Flamingo Kid'. The music was spectacular and I'm sure the show will be a lot of fun if/when it moves. Working with a legend like Henry was such an honor. Definitely a great side project to be involved in this past month.

It's always exciting to know that January is right around the corner. Last year everything exploded for me in January. This year I've got a fantastic job, a fantastic new family, and an entirely new prespective. I'm very curious to see where things will take me. There are a couple of exciting prospects but it's too early to even think about them. All I can say now is that I am so grateful to be where I am today.

And where I am today...is the Eugene O'Neill theatre. We have a show in a few hours. Merry Christmas everyone.

Matt
